Our Volunteers

On any week you will find over 40 friendly and dedicated people volunteering at the Seaford Community Centre. They undertake various roles in the following areas; reception, OpShop, gardening, basic maintenance, playgroup, desktop publishing and data entry to name a few.
The management committee members of the Centre are also volunteers and work diligently to ensure the services, activities and programs are meeting the varied needs of you and our community. They are integral in managing the day-to-day effectiveness; the applying for and acquitting of funds, the marketing and promotion of activities, the fundraising opportunities and much more.

There are many opportunities for volunteers to learn a new skill, meet new friends, share their expertise with others and know that they are making a difference in our community.

Without the constant support of these devoted people this Centre would simply not function. Many of our committed staff do more than one ‘shift’ per week and will help out at special events held through-out the year both at the Centre and offsite. The Centre is a friendly place to visit, undertake an activity or to volunteer, if you would like to know more about volunteering please give us a call on 08 8386 3319.

We look forward to hearing from you.
